Clinical laboratory science is an exciting, high tech, biomedical career that blends science, medicine and technology.

Clinical laboratory professionals analyze blood, body fluids, tissues and cells to determine the presence or absence of disease and monitor the effectiveness of treatment.

Clinical laboratory science is also called medical laboratory science, and the individuals who work in this setting are called clinical laboratory professionals or medical laboratory professionals.

They are highly skilled in the use of the latest in biomedical techniques and instrumentation.
